Comedy
In high school, I worked at the Funny Bone Comedy Club in Boise, Idaho, where I began developing my stand-up comedy skills and fully embraced my role as the class clown. Surrounded by touring comedians, I learned the importance of dedication and personal growth, which led me to take classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Now based in New York City, I perform with Company XIV, where I bring a unique blend of comedic storytelling and physicality to every project. I am eager to channel my passion and experience into creating unforgettable moments.
Daddy Issues & Wonderbread: Phil's Queer Comedy Festival Finale
Live from the NYC Queer Comedy Festival finals, Phil delivers a hilarious, fast-paced set tackling relatable family trauma. No one is safe, from breakdown-inducing phone calls with his Trump-supporting father over Wonderbread shortages to his mother’s unregulated Mexican medical adventures. Phil brilliantly blends dark humor with chaos as he wraps up with his blind sister's short-lived career as a soccer goalie.
Why I got rejected from Playgirl for being "Too Whimsical"
I’m moving on to the next round! 🏳️🌈✨ Check out my qualifying 5-minute set from the NYC Queer Comedy Festival at Broadway Comedy Club. From winning the Jerry Springer Stripper Showdown to navigating the "handsome disability" of a handlebar mustache, this set covers it all. I’m currently preparing a brand-new 5-minute routine for the next stage of the festival. Subscribe to follow the journey!
This Hookup Could Have Been An Email | Stand-Up Comedy
This is the official stand-up set that advanced me to the FINALS of the NYC Queer Comedy Festival! After an 8-year marriage ended (turns out it was a beautifully supportive, monogamous marriage... just nobody told my husband), I’m finally back on the scene. From navigating the modern horrors of dating apps and trying to figure out if "meaningful connection" has a hanky code, to discovering what a "Ferrari" hookup actually means, it’s rough out here. At least I have homemade chili to keep me company.
